Dear Backers,
We are writing to provide an update on our crowdfunding campaign and explain the situation that we have been facing. We understand that we have not communicated properly and that this has caused frustration and disappointment among our backers. We are truly sorry for this and want to take this opportunity to set the record straight.
The aftermath of COVID and the supply chain disruptions that followed have been major global issues affecting many industries, including ours. These challenges have significantly impacted our ability to deliver the product on time as we had hoped. Furthermore, we encountered unexpected additional costs due to the need to update certain features to comply with safety measures. While these additional features were necessary, they cost more than we had anticipated, and we understand that this is our fault.
As a result, we have encountered a number of setbacks along the way, and we apologize for not communicating these challenges to you as they arose. We understand that this has caused uncertainty and frustration, and we take full responsibility for any inconvenience that we may have caused.
As first-time business owners, we did not fully anticipate the challenges that we would face in bringing this project to fruition. However, we want to assure you that we have been working tirelessly to overcome these challenges and get back on track. We have been actively seeking new investments in the past few months, and we are pleased to announce that we are very close to closing a serious investment that will help us move forward.
However, we also want to be transparent and honest with you. We are very close to filing for bankruptcy, and we are doing everything in our power to avoid this outcome. We understand that this is not an ideal situation, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to make things right. We want to reassure you that we never tried to scam anyone, and we are committed to delivering the product that we promised.
We want to thank you for your continued support and understanding during this difficult time. We understand that we have a lot of work to do to regain your trust, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to make things right. We will continue to keep you informed of our progress and any updates along the way.

Hi Backers!
Trying to update at least once a month no matter where and what's happening!
As explained in the last update, we made some structural changes to the Knotix. These changes will only make the Knotix a safer and better product for you to use. I promised images, and we have them, but as we are still in the process of patenting them, we were advised to not send them out just yet.
With regards to the schedule:
- Production-ready files are complete with new upgrades.
- The search for a manufacturing partner is still open. There are a few concrete ones in the pipe, but honestly, we can't really cement anything before we receive a final prototype of the upgraded version from the candidates, so just a question of time now.
- Once the manufacturer is selected, we'll move on to mold production. What's great is that the new upgraded version requires fewer molds, which means less pre-production time than expected. The problem is that with the large amount of work done on the production-ready files, it seems we will be off schedule. How much? I'll know in the coming weeks once we finalize the production partner. I promise I will update you as we move along.
I promised images/video of the upgraded version and I will deliver! We either need the green light from our legal counsel or wait until we have the final prototype in hand.

Hi Backers!
Sorry for the delay, we're busy busy busy at work, as usual, we just try and wait to write an update until we have more concrete updates regarding the project.
At this point in time, we'd like to update you that we introduced several small changes to Knotix that will be explained in much more detail in the next update. We hope to have a video or some images that will show what we mean.
These changes are in course with the regular timeline (with a possible small delay) and will improve the Knotix safety measures even more and the ability to attach to other types of vehicles that were not available to date.
I really want to show you more, but as mentioned I'll only have them ready in the coming weeks and will update the second I can.
We're heavily invested in finalizing the manufacturing partner as we simultaneously work hard on finalizing the production-ready files.
As promised, the moment I have concrete updates with examples regarding the slight changes and more accurate production date, I will update.

Hey All!
Surveys have been sent out a while ago. We still have a few backers who did not complete it so just following up here as well to give another polite nudge to those who didn't fill it out yet. Please reach out if you didn't get it.
On the dev side: We've been waiting to send an update until we have a more concrete update for you. That being said, finalizing production-ready files is just a very long and tedious job, which honestly, would be a bit boring to share too much about. We will have some images later on.
We're currently working on a few fronts besides finalizing production-ready files. We're working hard on finding the right production partner both for the molds and for mass production. We've been dealing with a few issues having to do with patents (Knotix already has an active one!).
We're working on setting up the supply chain, building the website and creating business connections, and more and more.
As mentioned, we'll do everything we can to update you with more concrete data about development and production, but just wanted to reach out to say we're hard at work. Our backers are our inspiration to bring this amazing product to life and deliver it on time.
